Purpose

To provide public recognition to outstanding elemental music and movement teachers

Selection

A committee of ACEMM trustees and friends will select recipients from a list of eligible nominations.

Recipients will:

• be highlighted on the ACEMM website with an article featuring their work and contributions.
• have their local school administrators notified of their selection.
• receive a certificate of recognition and an engraved personal memento as a recipient of the Spotlight Award.

Eligibility

Nominees must be current teachers of music and or movement in public, private or higher education. They may also be directors of non-profit community music / movement groups.
